Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Chennai.

CMRL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for the appointment of following positions on contract basis.

CMRL Recruitment 2022 Required Qualification:

Post Code No. 01 – Deputy General Manager (Quality) – (01 Post):-

Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil engineering from a Govt. recognized University /Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC.

Post Code No. 02 – Deputy General Manager (Safety) – (01 Post):-

Must possess B.E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC along with Diploma in Industrial Safety or Certificate in OSHA / NEBOSH / Safety Management by IOSH.

Post Code No. 03 – Assistant Manager (Environment) (01 Post):-

Must be a M.E / M.Tech (Environment) graduate from a recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC.

Desirable:
Experience in Metro Rail Projects / Railway Project (JICA/ADB etc., funded projects) and Environment clearance for Class A and Class B Project.
Experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (System Certification etc.,) involving preparation of documents for ISO 140001, OHSAS18001 and ISO5001.
Knowledge on addressing the funding agency of MDB’s E& S Safeguard requirements. Green Building knowledge about requirements of green building as per IGBC norms.

2) Selection process:
The selection methodology comprises two-stage process, interview followed by medical examination. The selection process will judge the candidate on different facets like knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude and physical fitness.
